I really don't watch that much TV... I just record a lot of shows and zip through commercials! *thank you DVR* or I order them from Netflix and then I watch them on DVD

Nope, it's just that we have cable and DVR can't connect to it and our TV doesn't have normal TV either.

I like to watch a lot of reality shows and game shows. Right now my favorite is Big Brother, but I've been missing it a lot because of the olympics.

They have been so AWESOME!! Especially the swimming. The mens relay with Jason Lezak catching up to the French guy and Michael Phelps winning the 100 fly by .01 seconds was incredible. I have also been really enjoying gymnastics. I think last time I was really to young to appreciate how difficult it really is.

yeah, I know what you mean. the only problem is that some of these kids are soooo young. It is too bad that some of them feel pressured to win gold at age 16.

I know... I am in such awe of them. Like with Shawn Johnson, since we are the same age, I just imagine what it would be like going back to school with three olympic medals. It would be really strange.

I know, right? it is amazing. but it is also probably hard, because the probably don't have many friends, and maybe some of the ones they do have just want to "hang out" with them because they are Olympians. there are some situations where I don't think that it is a good idea, and the parents may have brianwashed the kids into believing they want to win gold... -sigh- what has this society come to?

It is pretty sad. Some swim meets I go to are just aweful that way. The parents pressure the kids so much that they cry when they don't knock off enough time.

It is really awful. Whenever I see that I think about how lucky I am that my Mom isn't like that. I couldn't handle the extra stress.
