Last year I fortunately had a really good English teacher. I learned sooo much from him, and my essays have gotten ridiculously better. I don't know about my new teacher yet. I hope she's good, but so far she seems to have a pretty strict grading policy when it comes to essays. We will see. I'm just finishing up my first one and I'm really nervous to call it my final draft because unlike previous teachers, we didn't get much class time for peer editing or anything. So I really hope I do alright...

I just turned in my today about the scarlet letter and how it was not an effective punishment for Hester. I found a bunch of mistakes as I turned it int , too. But she let us correct them so I hope it is alright.

I actually really liked the scarlet letter...

it was a nice, but mostly boring read, but I still liked it!
